Why use Folic Acid
 
Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is a water-soluble vitamin. Many people are deficient in folate, particularly older adults and pregnant women. Folic acid helps aid the formation of DNA & RNA, which helps the body to repair and rapidly grow new cell tissue. It is best known to support maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. It is recommended that pregnant women take folic acid, before pregnancy, and during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. Folic acid also promotes a healthy homocysteine level.
